J & J's Como Park Session

We had a great time at Como park, the boys were great sports even with the cold day we had!!! I got lots of smiles. We had to take several breaks to warm up but it was worth it in the end with the great shots we got. We even got some shots inside the conservatory. George's Birthday Blast

Today I met with a co-worker of mine and her daughter and grandson. He celebrated his first birthday and they wanted to get some shots of him for the special occasion. Him and my son are a month apart so it was fun seeing them interact some in between breaks. Kids have so much personality when they are playing with eachother. The little guy was more interested in what was going on around him during the shoot so we didn't get all smiles but we did manage to get a few. ENJOY!

Eric's Family Session

My husband got the honor of shooting this session, he really enjoyed meeting Eric's family. A couple of Eric's family members were home from the military so he felt it was appropriate to get a family photo before they went back. 6 brothers, wifes, mom and dad, and grandbaby. This was a large family and it was a blessing they could all be togehter for the holidays.

We were very fortunate to have a beautiful November day. We went to the Cambridge park for some great shots by the river. Little Issac is a cutie, I enjoyed taking these family photo's. He was a trooper considering we walked all over the place and were interupting his dinner time. I took Melany's sister's wedding photo's so I was happy to hear from her to take her family pic's. Amber & Aaron - Iowa Wedding

Congratulations Amber and Aaron!!! After a 6 hour drive to IA, we made it there on Friday and after a good nights rest, scoped out the location for ideas on Saturday morning before the start of the event. We came up with some good ones that turned out some great photo's in the end, one of the best backdrops was Aaron's car - WHAT A BEAUTY!!!! Great group of fun people, can't wait to go back to IA again!!!

Today I got to do an engagement session at the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis for the first time. What a beautiful location, the skyline was breathtaking. We romed the Heritage Trail across bridges and hiking the trail. It was adventurous and fun. I think I can safely say "we all had some fun and laughs" during this session. What a beautiful afternoon it was for our family session with Tom, Melissa and Bram. We visited a couple farms in Afton MN. I had a great time with you all. Melissa - you are definately a city girl so it was a lot of fun taking photo's out in the country in a field of cows next to cowpies - we definately got some laughs. Colin's Senior Session

We did our shoot in Stillwater MN in the early morining. What an awesome time for pics at this location. The fog was settled over the river and we got some great morning sunlight as it came up. Colin is a family friend so it gave me an opportunity to take time and be exploritive around Stillwater, we even walked up the 100's of stairs to go to the scenic look out above Stillwater. Hailey and Hannah are in daycare with my son so I feel like I know them really well. Lucky for me there is comfort with the girls as there were lots of laughs and smiles for the most part and only a few not so smily moments.... Youngest Ingberg Girls

This was my 2nd shoot with the Ingberg Family, this time it was just the two youngest girls. They were just adorable, they had matching outfits with sunflowers. They are both beautiful girls and so much fun to photograph. The youngest one was a little ham, she has sooooo much energy. Both have very different personalites so I found I had to be inventive and patient to capture some of the photographs. I even talked their beautiful mother into being in one of the photos. She is more photogenic then she thinks :) Thanks again - I hope the next photo I take is of the whole family :) Here are some photo's from the session. ENJOY!!!

David Gow Memorial Barrel Race

This was a make up barrel race at Lori Witz's for NBHA District 06 where we also celebrated Dave Gow's life with a memorial to him! It was a very perfect day out, the weather was just right, and most of the Gow family was present. We will all miss Dave very much and it was wonderful that most of his family could be their to support Kathy Gow at this event.

This past weekend we took a trip to my sisters inlaws cabin in WI. It was a nice break for my family to get away from all the stresses of our day jobs and it also gave me a chance to take a few photo's of my own family. Photo is of my sister with my 4 month old son on the dock...he is growing so fast.

I try to enjoy every moment because it will be gone before you know it.

I finally have my website up and running, my business feels like it is starting to take off. I have many new clients and the list continues to grow.
